Dr. Augusta is a board-certified orthodontist committed to creating beautiful, confident smiles through personalized, compassionate care. She offers a full range of orthodontic treatments—including traditional braces, clear aligners (such as Invisalign ®), and early interceptive care—using the latest technology and evidence-based techniques
She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Mount Holyoke College. Before dentistry, she worked as a process engineer in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, where she developed a deep appreciation for precision, innovation, and patient safety. Dr. Augusta went on to receive her DMD from the University of Pennsylvania and completed her orthodontic residency and Master of Dental Science at the University of Tennessee
Prior to moving to Rochester, Minnesota, she practiced in Oklahoma City. She now enjoys serving Rochester and neighboring communities, where she lives with her husband, Emmanuel, and their son, Kojo.
Dr. Augusta is a member of the American Board of Orthodontics, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the Zumbro Valley Dental Society. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, biking, and spending time with her family.
Dr. John Lawson earned his Bachelor of Arts in chemistry at the University of Missouri. He then attended School of Dentistry – University of Missouri – Kansas City, graduating in 1988. Dr. Lawson furthered his education by attending orthodontic school, graduating in 1991. Our beloved orthodontist has been practicing in the area ever since. Dr. Lawson’s goal is to create the best experience for each patient while improving smiles and the health of the bite.Dr. Lawson is committed to continuing his education so that he can provide patients with the best, most efficient services possible. He takes continuing education courses several times a year. Dr. Lawson also attends the annual meetings of the Roth Williams International Society of Orthodontists.Our Board Certified Orthodontist is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Roth Williams International Society of Orthodontists (RWISO) and the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO).Dr. Lawson’s wife, Maureen, is a dental hygienist. She is currently a para at Holy Spirit Preschool. Dr. Lawson and Maureen have two adult children: Megan and Johnny. Megan Meyer, who recently married Nick, is a physical therapist. Johnny graduated from the University of Missouri in biology. He has plans to go to medical school. In his spare time, Dr. Lawson enjoys fishing, boating and spending time with his family.
